A very generous LETS member has offered that anyone attending the Permablitz event on Sunday wanting sapphires, they will allocate 20 sapphires per hour into your account. Thanks so much. Transition Town Bega are launching this event to hopefuuly ignite the serious issue we face in the valley around the growing of food for local consumption.Changing the world one garden at a time. We have 2 more Permablitz's planned and from then on its a case of attending 3 events and your added to a list for it being at your place some time. This one on Sunday is at the home of *Wendy Hunter at 37 Meringo St in Bega* and starts around 9.00am till whenever.Your welcome any time and for as long as you choose. A feature will be making a cob pizza oven with LETS member Grant Walker and we should be munching them that evening. Please BYO food to share, any music to contribute, your fun and enthusiasm. ............................................................................................................................................................................ Many members are aware of the role LETS played in the BEND project with a lot of the work carried out by BEND members being paid for in sapphires. We startred BEND 8 years ago so a sizeable dept was raked up. Our solution to how BEND the developers cancel the dept before forming Bend the Neighbourhood Association ( this is happening now), was to allow a portion of block prices to be paid in sapphires to those who worked on the project. Last week our wonderful BEND Treasurer tansferred* 72,993 sapphires* out of BEND's account to clear the dept. This would have to be a world record. Congratulations to everyone involved in this incredible story and to the LETS system for allowing one concept outside the box fulfilling the dreams of another. kind regards John on behalf of the BEND Project Co-Odination Team. (mattrass & bedding not included), single mattress? will fit, either long or short.? it has wooden slats. we'd like to get $120 plus 30 sapphs or make an offer! if you're itnerested, please let us know before easter sunday, for we will be selling it at the pambula market, if it hasn't sold by then. thank you. blessings, lorea this is the starry sky to go on top of the bed, it leaves room to get in and out easily, for it's not full length. -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ BVLETS mailing list BVLETS at thebegavalley.org.au http://lists.thebegavalley.org.au/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bvlets Enjoy a safer web experience. I walk with Georgia and our doggie down past the Bend land, and I'm enjoying watching the happenings there...real bricks, real piles of purposeful pipes! I'm at 2 Gordon Street Bega if that's best for sending the invite, or on this email. Thanks, Jen Taylor -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It has been used as a base for a queen-sized mattress, base recess is 1580 mm by 2090 mm, has 9 castors and storage compatment (not drawers). Stands 260 mm high, not painted or stained. I would like $15 cash and 15 sapphs. I've always loved to grow things and hope to be productive in my retirement years starting next year.
