Some items I forgot to add into my bit - with the AGM taking place on 20 March at the Old Bega Hospital, various positions and tasks are opening up, or you can just join in the Admin Team as a general member. All tasks performed by LETS members that are in the interest of the organization (newsletter editor, Candelo market staff, coordinator, working B coordinators, etc.) are compensated for in Sapphs. You can earn 20 sapphs per hour worked - so it is not another organization that needs volunteers. You get paid!! (then you can use it for a massage!!!) In line with this, Kym sent out a notice this morning about our annual levy. This levy pays for that administration work. Therefore at the AGM last year, it was decided that the annual levy this year was being raised to 50 Sapphs to cover those costs. In the notice this morning it was said in error that the levy would be 25 sapphs for the 2010/11 year. Expect to see the correct amount of 50 Sapphs instead.
